Your hostess, Ellen,  is a photographer, social worker, artist, writer, and musician. She is willing to facilitate a broad range of activity: art, music, historical and interactive tours, flora and fauna, geology lectures, and more.

Don’t forget your lunch, walking stick, camera, swimsuit, kayak or canoe, hiking and water shoes, sketchpad, musical instruments, and sense of awe. 

Amenities: clubhouse, retreats for individuals and groups,  family camp, Van Laar studio/sales,  group/conference room,  patios,  beach, trails, kayaking, high speed internet, and catering available on request, weddings, parties, store  (5 miles), restaurants, Provincial Parks.

Fee services: art and music lessons/retreats, piano, violin, accompaniment, ensemble and creativity coaching, workshops, team building and more. Retreats $60/CDN, $50 US per night for shared facilities. 

Credentials: Ellen has a Masters Degree in Art and Music (Central Michigan University), social worker, with teaching degrees and experience at all levels.
