Guiding and Education!

Focus on integrated fun: parks and ice cave guide, art, music, nature, outdoor education, local history, hiking and water sports.  Day use is our new focus.

Rentals: three bedroom cabin (sleeps 6), clubhouse room with queen bed.  There are also rental rooms in the house.

Your hostess, Ellen,  is a photographer, social worker, artist, writer, and musician. She is willing to facilitate a broad range of activity: art, music, historical and interactive tours, guiding, flora and fauna, geology lectures, and more.

Don’t forget your lunch, walking stick, camera, swimsuit, kayak or canoe, hiking and water shoes, sketchpad, musical instruments, and sense of awe. 

Amenities: clubhouse, retreats for individuals and groups,  family camp, Van Laar studio/sales,  group/conference room,  patios,  beach, trails, kayaking, high speed internet, and catering available on request, weddings, parties, store  (5 miles), restaurants, Provincial Parks.

Fee services: art and music lessons/retreats, piano, violin, accompaniment, ensemble and creativity coaching, workshops, team building and more. Retreats for 5 --$100/CDN, $80 US/ea.  per day for shared facilities and food. ( $50 per add)

Credentials: Ellen has a Masters Degree in Art and Music (Central Michigan University), social worker, with teaching degrees and experience at all levels.
